I successfully qualified as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner in 2007 with the Quest Institute, when I graduated on their world-renowned, cutting-edge Diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy. I was trained by Trevor Silvester, one of the world's leading hypnotherapists. The course also included training in EFT. You can view student feedback about this superb course here.
I have trained with Rubin Battino (a highly experienced US-based hypnotherapist and author) in his unique approach of Very Brief Therapy.
I'm a member of the National Council For Hypnotherapy (NCH). The NCH has strict entry requirements, including the completion of the Hypnotherapy Diploma, a substantial piece of work comparable in word terms to a degree-level dissertation. The NCH sets very high standards for professional competency, conduct and continuing professional development.
I'm registered with the U.K. Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations (Reg No 82395) and abide by their regulations and high standards of professional practice.
I'm a member of the Association of NLP Professionals (ANLP) and abide by their rules and regulations.
I completed Reiki Level 1 in 2003 and Reiki Level 2 in 2004 and am a practitioner member of the UK Reiki Federation.
I'm regularly PNC/CRB checked to give parents added peace-of-mind when working with children (although under NCH regulations all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult during hypnotherapy treatment).
I'm fully insured and regulated by the organisations I belong to.

On a personal level, I'm very much a family man, married to my wonderful wife Vannessa and devoted father to our two beautiful children we are so blessed to have.
Having been for hypnotherapy myself for some issues I had a few years ago I can honestly say (and this really, really isn't supposed to be a marketing pitch !!) that its the best money I ever spent on myself - I can give it no better personal endorsement than that.
Our understanding of the workings of the human body and mind are still incomplete, and all of the the fields I have been trained in continute to develop and grow. My dream (not yet a reality) would be to see the fields of traditional and complimentary medicine, often at odds with each other over vested interests, ethics, approaches and beliefs, working together to provide something that should be a birthright for everyone - truly holistic optimal health.
